![]() Don't think it's Bluetooth so range and battery life are unlikely to compare with Apple's. Control-Alt-Delete is a computer keyboard command on IBM PC compatible computers, invoked by pressing the Delete key while holding the Control and Alt keys. Obviously it is a cheap and nasty version but it is a proper Windows keyboard with a delete key. Press Command+Option+Escape Open the Apple menu Step 1 Press Command+Option+Escape Truth be told, macOS doesnât have a die-hard equivalent to the old Ctrl Alt Delete on Windows, but the closest. Not sure how well it works in Win 8.1 though.Ä®dit: incidentally I was in my local Staples last weekend and noticed a cheap keyboard that looks very much like the Apple keyboard. ![]() SharpKeys I think was the name of one such utility I have used in the past. You could for example use another key (say f10) to do the job of the delete key. I haven't used one for a while but their are free utilities around that can remap keys on your keyboard. Maybe I should have mentioned I use Windows 8.1. It's so lovely to type on, I'll put up with it for now! I hadn't realised how important the Delete key was until I got my Apple keyboard. I can then hold Ctrl+Alt on my Magic Keyboard and click Del on the On Screen Keyboard and I get the standard options to lock the computer, run task manager, etc. I'm currently connected to a Windows 10 desktop remotely from a Mac and can bring up the keyboard. It's not the end of the world as I do have a media remote control so I can use that if I did have to Control Alt and Delete. Ctrl+Cmd+O should turn the On-Screen Keyboard on or off. Right-click on System and select Newmiss the delete key for deleting files etc. Tried Fn + backspace and it just does a standard backspace.
